Hope

In Ephesians 4 we are told as Christians that we have one hope, that hope is based upon our faith in Christ. A faith through acceptance of his messiahship, a faith that is expressed in the Nicene Creed; a creed that many Christans read out aloud in church every week. But how many know what they are saying? How many doubt this truth? We talk of "The Church" and there is a Hymn that talk's of the church of one foundation, yet the church, forgets the requirements of Ephesians to be in unity with each other, rather than the fragmented idea of church that so many seem to be part of.
If we are to truly live in the eternal hope of unity, then we must recognise our differences, yet focus upon the fundamental principles of Christian faith that we share, even though our individual understanding may be poles apart. Our faith should not be a theological debate but a meeting people, where we aim at "breaking Bread Together" and receive the everlasting love of Jesus through the promised salvation to all are one with him
